HEY MARILYN
A Musical Biography of Marilyn Monroe
Book, Music and Lyrics by Cliff Jones

"It's sensational!...

….The Jones genius is fully evident from the beginning…Hearing the theme (title) song half way through it strikes a chord, but it is only after the finale that the song bursts through the clouds of emotion to become a haunting and painful elegy to a tormented woman…the tragedy of Marilyn Monroe has never been more poignant."   Halifax Mail-Star

CCitadel Theatre Production, Edmonton
HEY MARILYN has enjoyed two major stage productions.

In the Citadel Theatre production in Edmonton, Alberta, the role of Marilyn was played by LENORE ZANN (currently an elected member of the government of Nova Scotia).

In the St. Lawrence Centre For The Arts in Toronto, the role of Marilyn was played by ISABELLE KIRALY (currently performing in her own show on an around-the-world (twice) tour on the largest cruise ship ever built).

The option to produce HEY MARILYN on Broadway was held for several years by Tony-award-winning actress COLLEEN DEWHURST. Unfortunately, cancer took Ms. Dewhurst from us before her dream could be realized.
